Dr. Isabel Castaneda grew up in Dallas, Texas, and completed her undergraduate studies at Clemson University, where she also rowed for the collegiate women’s rowing team.
Dr. Castaneda graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in January of 2021. She completed her clinical year at Oklahoma State University. Since graduation, Dr. Castaneda practiced within the Dallas metroplex, before joining us here at AMC Wentzville.
Dr. Castaneda spends most of her free time with her husband, Julian, and son, Wesley. They have two dogs, Pancake and Angus, and two cats: Butters and Frijolita. When she’s not in the clinic, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family. Some of her other hobbies include reading, baking, crocheting, and gardening.
Dr. Castaneda aspires to provide high quality individualized care for each patient and build trust-filled relationships with her clients and patients. She loves all aspects of veterinary medicine and has special interests in internal medicine, surgery, and geriatric care.
